BY SIGNING BELOW, I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I
UNDERSTAND THAT I MAY BURN ONLY UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
Atmospheric
conditions and local circumstances must be favorable and the fire must be
attended at all times.
Burning
must take place only during daylight hours, except for recreational or
ceremonial fires.
A
burn pile shall not exceed five feet (5') by five feet (5') by five feet (5')
in dimension.
A
burn pile shall not be less than fifty feet (50') from any structure or
property line and provisions shall be made to prevent any fire from spreading
to within fifty feet (50') of any structure or property line.
Fuel
shall consist only of yard waste and shall be ignited with a small quantity of
paper, using no accelerants, to minimize the generation of air contaminants,
except for recreational or ceremonial fires which may only be fueled by dry
firewood.
Recreational
and ceremonial fires larger than two feet (2') by two feet (2') by two feet
(2') in dimension, but not exceeding five feet (5') by five feet (5') by five
feet (5') in dimension shall follow guidelines set forth in the Township’s
Burning Ordinances.
Note:
All applications must be submitted at least ten (10) days before the
fire is set, and are valid only for the date and time specified.
