Miscellaneous
Recycling
Township citizens are invited to participate in the red Hill regional Recycling Program. The drop-off location is at 56 West Fourth Street in Red Hill Borough (next to the Red Hill Borough Municipal Building) and is open seven day a week, 24 hours a day. Items accepted include glass food and beverage containers, aluminum beverage cans, plastics and paper, including newspapers, magazines, junk mail and catalogs.

Snow Removal
The Upper Hanover Township Property Maintence Code specifies that where sidewalks exist between a property line and the road cartway, the property owner is required to have at least a two-foot wide path cleared of snow and ice within 24 hours after precipitation has stopped falling. When more than 12 inches of snow has fallen, the property owner has 48 hours to clear the path.
